OXFORD:
- Lyceum at University of Mississippi — Served as a Confederate and Union hospital.
- Presbyterian Church
- Confederate Graveyard — The resting place of more than 700 Confederate soldiers.
- Oxford Graveyard — Resting place of L.Q.C. Lamar, United States Supreme Court Justice as well as Confederate Ambassador to Russia.
HOLLY SPRINGS:
- Walter Place Estate
- Strawberry Plains — Antebellum mansion burned by Union forces and rebuilt, now the state headquarters for the National Audubon Society.
- Hillcrest Cemetery — Final resting place for 11 Confederate generals.
MICHIGAN CITY:
- Annual reenactment of the Battle of Davis Mill at location near actual battle site.
LAGRANGE, TENNESSEE:
- Starting point for several Union raids, including Grierson’s.
SHILOH, TENNESSEE:
- Shiloh National Military Park.
CORINTH:
- Largest and best preserved example of Civil War earthworks in the U.S. — Tour by car or bicycle.
- Corinth Civil War Interpretive Center — Operated by the National Park Service as part of Shiloh Battlefield.
- Contraband Camp — 21 acres, with walkway and interpretive exhibits.
- Historic Railroad Crossing — "The Crossroads of the Confederacy".
- Historic homes — Including the Verandah/Curlee House, home to both Union and Confederate commanders.
BOONEVILLE:
- Cunningham House — Where Nathan Bedford Forrest planned the attack at Brice’s Crossroads.
BALDWYN:
- Brice’s Crossroads National Battlefield
- Brice’s Crossroads Interpretive Museum

- Small preserved battlefield site and marker.
