Operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the center is located in Itawamba County on the east side of the Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway. Videos and displays examine waterways and Appalachian-region programs. The historical center includes a nature trail, auditorium, picnic area and areas for fishing.
